Do I have to "re-apply" for my job?
LSI team members will need to complete the online onboarding process with Sun. Please review the details related to the transition/onboarding process located here.
What if Sun does not have my same position?
Although our job title may vary slightly, posted positions should closely resemble the duties you currently perform. If you are having a difficult time locating the position you should apply to, please contact us for assistance.
Will I need to pass a background check and/or drug test?
Yes. We conduct pre-hire background checks and drug screens.
What are the steps to the hiring process?
The steps to our hiring process are detailed below.
1. Complete online application
2. Review and accept your conditional offer of employment with Sun once received via email
3. Once received via email, complete background check release and schedule drug test (must schedule within 48 hours!)
4. Online onboarding package sent via email
8. Complete online onboarding forms & information process (must be completed prior to start date)
What holidays does Sun recognize as company holidays?

Is Sun on a bi-weekly pay schedule?
Yes. Team members are paid every two weeks, and our regularly scheduled pay days are on Fridays.

Is direct deposit offered?
We offer direct deposit and Mastercard pay cards. Our Mastercard pay card is a great option for team members who do not have a bank account, and enables you quick and easy access to your pay on pay day.
Will I receive credit for my years of service?
Yes. Your most recent hire date with your current employer will be carried over to Sun and recognized as your "service date" with Sun. Your service date is what's used to determine eligibility for benefits, rent discounts, service anniversaries, etc.
Will I be offered benefits?
All non-seasonal, full-time team members who work 30 or more hours per week (on average) are eligible for benefits.

When will benefits become effective?
If coverage is elected, team members will be eligible for Sun's benefit plan coverage effective on their hire date with Sun.
How much will I have to contribute to the cost of each type of coverage?

Does Sun offer rent discounts to team members?
Yes. Team members who work 6 months or more in a 12 month period and who are listed on the lease agreement are eligible for a discount off their site rent. Discounts are 15% for part-time team members, and 30% for full-time team members.
How many Paid Time Off (PTO) days will I have per year?
Eligible team members are awarded PTO at the beginning of each year, and their PTO award is based on their service date.

Less than 5 17 days (136 hours)
5, but less than 10 22 days (176 hours)
10 or more 27 days (216 hours)
Team members who join Sun after March 31st receive a pro-rated portion of their annual PTO award based on their start date. Based on our anticipated transition date, your employment with Sun will begin with the following PTO amounts for 2022:

10 or more 27 days (216 hours)

How many paid holidays does Sun offer per year?
We offer 10 paid company holidays per year.
When will I be eligible to take PTO?
Your PTO balance will be populated into your PTO bank for use within 2-3 days of your start date with Sun.
Does Sun offer a 401k plan?
Yes.
What is the match for the 401k plan?
We match 50% of the first 4% of your annual contributions, up to a maximum of $2,500 per year.
How will my existing 401(k) balance be handled?
If you currently contribute to a 401(k) plan, you'll be able to roll your funds into Sun's plan.
